As a custom sign manufacturer, Sign Effectz Inc. offers a variety of sign-related services. In addition to Manufacturing, Sign Maintenance, Installation, Project Management, Prototyping are just a few of the services we offer.

We also have our AFX Division. It provides architects, artists and design professionals with the engineering, materials and methods needed to design, fabricate, and install “creative architectural objects.” Some examples include kinetic art sculptures, active facades, and ornamental building components.

The Project Management position controls many aspects of our projects and has many communication channels and resources to utilize. Some internal resources would include Install Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Production Manager, Production Artist, and Office Manager. Outside communications might include Customers, Sales staff, Construction trades, municipalities, and others.

Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

As a role that focuses on completing projects as efficiently and promptly as possible, you can expect to see any of the following duties and responsibilities in the Project Manager position:

  • Managing CRM software Tasks & updates – Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Project Timeline Management – Managing project progress and adapt work as required, ensuring projects meet deadlines
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
  • Project Survey Meetings w/ Production
  • Site Visits (simple surveys, staking sign locations, job meetings, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Project Sub-trades (Construction, Electrical, Concrete, etc.)
  • Municipal Sign Code Compliance Verifications
  • Permit Applications & Meetings when needed
  • Manage Change Order Requests (Customer/Production)
  • Attend “Work In Progress” Meetings (1-2 hr. weekly)
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to “Project Coordinator”
  • Customer Approvals (Financial and Production)
  • Prepare Invoicing Worksheets
  • Assemble and distribute Work Order packets for production and Install
  • Contact Diggers Hotline for excavation
Project Manager Job Qualifications:
