Academic Institutions

#Academicinstitutions are always held in high regard by many. These institutions are the molds from which our children are formed and our future is created. Their environments are a primary element in the success of a child’s development. This makes it very inspiring to help make the best educational incubator through the visual influence of our many types of #Signage.

At the Sign Effectz’s core, we are true believers in continuous improvement and ongoing education. It’s encouraged and nurtured throughout our organization.

With that being said, there are some projects that fit us like a glove. KinderCare Learning Centers and Muskego High School were just two recent ones. 

KinderCare Learning Center

We started working with #CimaNetwork on the #KinderCareLearningCenter project a couple months back. Cima presented us with the ADA portion of the #kindercare rebrand package. They had over twenty five different graphic layouts and an incredibly wide number of sign types that they needed manufactured, processed and shipped to over 140 locations around the country.

#Signeffectz takes great pride in its high level of project management and attention to detail. And that’s what it took to ensure all 5000+ signs got to their sites as smoothly and easy as possible. Did I happen to mention the tight deadlines for these locations? Maybe not, 6 weeks, 5000+ signs. Let that sink in for a moment. Tall order to say the least. None the less, #Signeffectz took the bull by the horns and owned it! They were manufactured meticulously to fit their specific criteria and all #KinderCare locations received their respective signs within the deadline. All was complete and Kids rolled in the locations to absorb the next pieces of formability.

I picture the kids walking through the halls, backpacks slung over their shoulders, excited to learn everything they come across. It’s kind of like an old school Christmas Eve story… maybe less the white beard, red suit and the Reindeer.

Sweet ending to a team inspiring project and I’m incredibly proud of our team.

Muskego High School

Another great project was working with #MuskegoHighSchool . Muskego High School had made the choice to invest in their sports program, specifically football. #SignEffectz designed, engineered and installed their new Press Box signage. The whooping 9’10” tall x 28’0” long structure carried a  roof mounted dimensional football lace logo and a series of reverse channel letters and logos. The football lace logo included a perforated metal backdrop for a bit of flare and punch. It was all mounted to a corrugated metal façade.

There were a lot of contributing factors that came into play in the design of such a sign. Such as, to honor the successful seasons the athletes have achieved, to spark more school spirit and most of all to encourage other students to get more active in extracurricular activities. We are confident that this sign will bring, not just the community together, but to help with the development of these young moldable students. To always encourage and honor their achievements. Academic or other.

Another inspirational project to say the least.

Communication

A discipline Project Management team and constant communication played a huge part in the success of these two projects. Priorities had to set and spread to all involved for full team alignment.

With KinderCare the priority was that the project would be finished, shipped and installed all within a tight turnaround time of six weeks. Time is money with this one.

With Muskego High School it was the communication with the local jurisdictions to understand their specific codes, obtain the permits required for installing the sign, and to contact the original architects of the building to get the structural information needed for proper installation.
