It’s been one month into the new year and #SignEffectz has taken up various projects. With all the latest projects and renovations going on it’s like witnessing the start of the industrial revolution. Shipments of materials coming in, sparks flying everywhere, and the sounds of machines roaring like a T-Rex that just broke out of Jurassic Park. With so much happening what could possibly be going on? Well with all the commotion one project seems to stand out.Â
A Work In Progress
For the past few weeks, the team has been working resiliently on a project for #MandelGroup. The project seems to pertain specifically to a rooftop channel letter sign on top of #SoNaLofts. The sign is said to have numerous parts and stages but thankfully the Sign Effectz team is #BuiltForResilience. The start of the process starts with numerous little tasks such as cutting the aluminum into the right measurements, bending/shaping the letters, and then finally welding the letters in place.Â
After the foundation is set for these channel letters they are then overlaid with orange perforated vinyl. This displays the channel letters as orange when the sun is out. A cool fun detail is that the orange overlay contains numerous tiny little white dots, so when the internal LEDs illuminate at night the letters come off as bright white! It’s as if every channel letter is a chameleon ready to just change colors at any given moment. In the final stages, the sign will be held up by steel and aluminum X frames on a sloped rooftop. The sign will then be crane lifted and screwed on top of the frames accordingly. Overall, the sign is very unique and we can’t wait to see the final product when it leaves our shop to get installed.
