There are certain things Wisconsin is known for to the outside world. Some see us as the dairy state. Others view us as the land of beer, but most importantly we are known as the home of the Packers and Brewers. Never before has anyone seen a state embrace such an identity and lifestyle around two teams. Practically all Wisconsinites can recall a time tailgating at a game, the smell of brats roasting on a grill and most of all being surrounded by eager fans cheering on the team whilst holding a beer in one hand. That’s why when #SignEffectz was approached about partaking in the most Wisconsin project ever how could we refuse?Â
Rolling Out The Barrel
Just a few months ago #AmericanFamilyField announced a soon-to-be-opened brewery restaurant called #TheBarrelYard in their facility. The restaurant is said to be a collaboration between American Family Field and #TheJacobLeinenkugelBrewingCompany. The Barrel Yard will be the first brewery in history to be installed in the iconic stadium. Upon opening the restaurant is said to serve 48 different types of beer, delicious meals, and seating inside/outside to showcase ongoing games.Â
Here at Sign Effectz, we are so happy to be a part of this project. All those involved will leave their mark on history. It’s as if everyone united as one big family to create everything needed for this project. Inspection and construction were key to developing a sign. White acrylic channel letters were developed and internally LED lights were installed. Leaving bright white-lit channel letters that can be seen even at night. We hope that these letters can help fellow game attendees easily navigate and spot the Barrel Yard. Picture opening day as the channel letters are lit it’ll draw in crowds of Wisconsinites as if they are mosquitoes drawn to a lamp. Alas, a new Wisconsin tradition is developed and born. We hope that all that attend American Family Field will enjoy this restaurant for generations to come. We can’t wait to see what other projects may await us once again the next time we return.Â
