When our team gets sent a project, we take it head on regardless of the difficulty. Honestly, we really do appreciate challenges because they test us and sometimes push us to our limits. That is because we are #BuiltForResilence. So, when we collaborated on a project with #MandelGroup we didn’t take a moment to hesitate. With occupancy dates in mind, we wasted no time to get this baby into production. All the required signage was installed in time for the key occupancy inspection. This project has multiple phases, and this is just the first one of a much bigger project.
From Start To Finish
What began as the first step of the journey was when we were requested to design and manufacture some custom ADA signs for #SoNaLofts. Recognizing that the building complex has a modern industrial theme, certain materials were chosen to fit the aesthetics of the building and The Mandel Groups’ vision. This led to a unique sign design. These ADA compliant signs were to be chain hung by door entrances for room identification. A laser cut steel plate with a gun bluing finish and bold “mule” style rivets were placed around a room number with meticulous precision. It’s as if it was forged in the fiery depths of Mordor by a steampunk dwarf…yep, that’s the type of visions we have here. LOL.
In accordance with ADA code an additional acrylic backer was required to be added. These acrylic backers were to be placed just slightly under the steel plated ADAs as the final piece to make it a very cool and #ADAcompliant product. Overall, it’s been an absolute blast starting this phased adventure and we’re jacked for the next one to be completed soon.
